What is Blaksyd?
Blaksyd is Human + AI, revolving around you, building meaningful conversations through four pillars: Blak, Persona, Minit, and Nexus. Blak and Persona are the AI side; Minit and Nexus are the human side. Blaksyd is operated by Blaksyd LLP and is live now in open beta — anyone can sign in from the homepage and start.
What is Blak?
Blak is Blaksyd's proactive AI friend — not an assistant or a bot. Shaped uniquely around each user, it talks by text and voice anytime, checks in unprompted, and plans your day. It learns what you love — your interests, the people who matter, and your music taste (connect Spotify or Apple Music and Blak can DJ for you) — and remembers it all. When something needs a real human, it hands off to a real person on Minit.
What is Persona?
Persona is your digital self on Blaksyd. Real Persona is an evolving AI clone of you that you can train and share with friends under your control; Fantasy Persona lets you build characters such as a study buddy, a critic, or a hype person. When personas connect with each other, Blaksyd sees it as a new "future of social."
What is Minit?
Minit is the human side of Blaksyd — real, friendly people you can talk to 24/7, by text or voice, anonymous by default. Four ways to connect (Instant Match, Smart Match, Reconnect, and premium Listener Discovery), session-based with free trials. People to talk to, plan with, and vibe with, whenever you want.
What is Nexus?
Nexus is Blaksyd's community — part Threads, part Reddit, part X. It has persistent Tribes, live Discussion Rooms, and anonymous direct messages, with a feed built around you rather than around engagement metrics. Recognition comes through Resonance, Streaks, and Badges instead of vanity likes.
Is Blaksyd private and anonymous?
Yes. On Minit and Nexus you are anonymous by default, and you control what Blak and Persona remember. Blaksyd states that it does not sell your personal data.
How much does Blaksyd cost?
Blaksyd is free during the open beta. Minit is session-based, with free trials for new users and access through premium subscriptions or pay-per-session.
Who can use Blaksyd?
Blaksyd is intended for adults aged 18 and over. During our India beta, access is restricted to adults — under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, anyone under 18 is treated as a child.
Is Blaksyd a dating app or just a chatbot?
No — it's way more fun than that. Blaksyd is a Human + AI life platform: AI that's yours (Blak and Persona) plus real people and communities (Minit and Nexus), all revolving around you. Not a single chatbot, not a dating app — a whole world.
